Andrea R. Passantino

Andrea R. Passantino is the most recent addition to our PA Family Law firm; having been hired as a Law Clerk in December of 2010.  Andrea's duties center around assisting the family law attorneys in the preparation of their cases.  Her tasks include performing legal research and writing on Pennsylvania family law issues, drafting requests for discovery of marital assets and debts as well as answers to discovery requests, and writing initial drafts of family law pleadings.

Prior to her employment with Lisa Marie Vari & Associates, Andrea was employed as a Law Clerk with the Women's Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh where she focused her efforts on matters involving domestic violence, spousal abuse, and  Protection From Abuse (PFA) cases as well as other Pennsylvania family law issues.  She also gained family law experience as an undergraduate when she worked as a Legal Intern at a small family law firm.

Andrea currently attends the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where she is a Dean's Merit Scholarship recipient.  As a Certified Legal Intern, Andrea participates in the University of Pittsburgh School of Law - Family Law Clinic where she assists Pro Se litigants with various family law matters including custody, support, and Protection From Abuse.  She is expected to graduate from Pitt Law in May of 2012.  Prior to attending Pitt, Andrea attended the Binghamton University (State University of New York).  In May of 2008, she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics and Law.  During her undergraduate studies, Andrea was a member of the National Champion Policy Debate team and the women's club lacrosse team.  Andrea furthered her studies at Binghamton and was awarded a Master of Philosophy degree in Social, Political, Ethical and Legal Philosophy in 2009.
