Associate Attorney Jesse I. Weidaw

Jesse I. Weidaw is a 1999 graduate of Pennsylvania State University and a 2003 graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  While attending law school, Jesse was one of the first Pitt Law students to participate in a curriculum dedicated toward developing a focus in a career in domestic relations law.  As part of the domestic relations - family law cirriculum, Jesse completed an internship with the "Father's Collaborative" which provided legal assistance to area fathers who were seeking to reestablish meaningful relationships with their children, but were facing difficulties either due to resistance from their child's mother, or an inability to navigate the Family Court system. He was also involved with the University's civil practice clinics, which provide all manner of legal assistance to low income individuals throughout the state.

Since becoming licensed to practice law in 2003, Jesse has focused his practice in the domestic relations field. He has successfully tried all types of domestic relations cases throughout Western Pennsylvania.  After serving as opposing counsel on a complicated support matter and seeing the quality of his work, Mr. Weidaw was offered and accepted a position with Lisa Marie Vari & Associates in October 2008.  Mr. Weidaw is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations and the Family Law and Young Lawyers Sections of both Associations.

Jesse is an avid camper and cook, he has a three year old son. He stays active in the community through his involvement with the Penn State Alumni Association and as a youth football referee.

Our law firm accepts family law matters from other Western PA counties including Armstrong County (Kittanning), Clarion County, Greene County, Indiana County, Lawrence County (New Castle), Mercer County, and Venango County on a case-by-case basis. Our office is not currently soliciting or accepting cases in the Florida courts.
